Brooklyn Beckham goes mad for Man Utd goal alongside David despite being 'Arsenal fan'

Despite reportedly being an Arsenal fan, Brooklyn Beckham celebrated Bruno Fernandes' FA Cup final goal for Manchester United next to dad David rather wildly at Wembley this weekend.

Saturday afternoon was a frustrating afternoon for Manchester United fans across the world.

For so long, the Red Devils have been the only English side to have won an historic treble, with Sir Alex Ferguson's famous 1999 side pulling off the extraordinary feat when they beat Bayern Munich to win the Champions League.

However, after losing to Manchester City in the FA Cup final, their rivals now have a chance to match the feat of Ferguson's 1999 side, with only Inter Milan standing in Pep Guardiola's way of winning the treble.

One fan in particularly who will have been dismayed to have seen his former team lose is legendary midfielder David Beckham, who was part of the 1999 treble winning side.

Cheering on his former team at Wembley on Saturday, Beckham, supported by son Brooklyn, celebrated like wild when United equalised in the first half through Bruno Fernandes after City took the lead after Ilkay Gundogan's record breaking opener.

However, some fans were left confused by Brooklyn's celebration, with many believing him to be an Arsenal fan.

The 24-year-old used to be a part of the Gunners academy years ago but was let go in 2015. Upon seeing the celebrations of the two Beckham's one fan tweeted: "Good to see the Arsenal fan beside him celebrate too."

However, it is entirely possible that confused fans got Brooklyn and his brother, Romeo, mixed up.

Earlier this year, David and Romeo attended Arsenal's 3-2 win over Manchester United at the Emirates, with the former gloating heavily when the Gunners won. Taking to Instagram back in January, a jubilant Romeo posted a photo of the pair captioned "Sleep tight dad."
