PSG Fans Show No Mercy as Lionel Messi Faces Boos During Comeback Game After Suspension
On his first game back after an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia, Lionel Messi was greeted by a chorus of boos from Paris Saint Germain fans.
In the last few weeks, Messi’s future at PSG has been the talk of the town as rumours of him leaving the club in the summer have begun to intensify.
Furthermore, Messi then went on an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia and missed training, which led to an apparent suspension by PSG.
On Saturday night, Messi made his return to the team against Ajaccio. Prior to kick-off, Messi’s name was booed when it was announced in the starting XI. You can watch the footage below.

During the match, Messi was booed when he first touched the ball and subsequently every time he touched the ball, a section of the PSG faithful was heard booing and jeering the Argentine forward.
Messi has been linked with a summer transfer to the likes of Barcelona and Al Hilal but nothing is yet to be confirmed.
The Parc des Princes club went on to thrash their opponents 5-0 but Messi produced a below-par performance.
Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi scored in the first half to make it 2-0.
In the second half, a brace from Kylian Mbappe plus an own goal by Mohamed Youssouf completed the rout.
As a result, PSG are now six points clear at the top of Ligue 1 with just three games remaining.
After the match, PSG boss Christophe Galtier said: “It's good for the players to take the points. But our nearest challengers [Lens] are taking points at an incredible rate and third-place [Marseille] will probably win this weekend, too. Nothing is decided yet.
“Among my squad II see players who want to be champions of France. [But] Lens don't give up and we remain within reach. One miss-step can put pressure on the end of the season.”
PSG are back in Ligue 1 action next week as they take on 16th-placed Auxerre.
