Erling Haaland on Track to Break 5 Records This Season, Including a 95-Year-Old Milestone

As Manchester City aims to achieve a historic treble, Erling Haaland has the potential to surpass several records in the upcoming weeks.

On Wednesday evening, the Norwegian striker achieved a new feat by scoring his 35th goal of the season in City's dominant 3-0 victory over West Ham, surpassing the previous record for most goals in a single Premier League season.

With five games still left in the Premier League season, Erling Haaland has already surpassed the likes of Alan Shearer and Andy Cole, who scored 34 goals each during the 1993/94 and 1994/95 seasons respectively, in the league's all-time scoring charts.

Haaland's debut season in England's top-flight has been nothing short of a dream, as he has already broken the record for the youngest player to score 30 goals in the Champions League, thanks to his impressive performances in Europe.

Looking ahead to the upcoming matches against Leeds, Real Madrid (twice), Everton, Chelsea, Brighton, Brentford, and Manchester United, there are five realistic records that Erling Haaland could potentially break.

Most goals in a Champions League season:

Erling Haaland has been in scintillating form in the Champions League this season, scoring five goals during the group stage and another seven in the knockout rounds, including a stunning five-goal haul against RB Leipzig that helped secure Manchester City's place in the quarter-finals.

With 12 goals to his name in the competition this season, Haaland is within touching distance of the current record of 17 goals in a single UCL season, which is held by Cristiano Ronaldo for his performances in the 2013/14 season with Real Madrid.

It remains to be seen whether Haaland can surpass this incredible feat, but with potentially three more matches to play in the competition this season, it's certainly within the realm of possibility.

Most goals in a Champions League season for a Premier League club:

Erling Haaland is on the brink of breaking another impressive record in the Champions League, as he only needs one more goal to surpass Ruud van Nistelrooy's tally of 12 goals in a single UCL season, which he achieved during Manchester United's run to the quarter-finals in the 2002/03 campaign.

Manchester City's upcoming semi-final clash against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on May 9 could be the perfect stage for Haaland to break this record.

If City progress to the final, they will face either AC Milan or Inter Milan at Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium on May 17, where Haaland will have another opportunity to add to his impressive goal tally in the competition this season.

Most goals in an English top-flight season in all competitions:

Erling Haaland has been in sensational form this season, having scored a total of 51 goals in all competitions for Manchester City.

However, if he wishes to break Dixie Dean's long-standing record of 63 goals in a single season, set during the 1927/28 campaign for Everton, he will need to score another 12 goals in City's remaining fixtures.

Dean's achievement of scoring 63 goals in 41 games remains a remarkable feat, and nobody has come close to breaking this record in almost a century.

While Haaland has been in incredible form this season, surpassing Dean's record would be an incredible accomplishment.

But the brilliant Haaland could go on and smash it with eight [nine including the Champions League final if they beat Madrid] fixtures remaining in all competitions. You wouldn't put it past him, would you.

Most teams scored against in a Premier League season:

If Erling Haaland wishes to break the Premier League record for most clubs scored against in a single season, which currently stands at 17 goals and was achieved by the likes of Andy Cole, Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, Robin van Persie and Mohamed Salah, he will need to score against Chelsea on May 21 and Brentford on May 28.

Haaland has been in outstanding form in the league this season, having scored against 17 different clubs except for Liverpool, against whom he missed one of the matches due to injury.

With two more games remaining, the Norwegian striker will be looking to add to his already impressive tally and potentially break this record.

Most hat-tricks in a season:

Erling Haaland has already scored an impressive four hat-tricks in the Premier League this season, with three against Manchester United, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.

However, the record for the most hat-tricks in a debut Premier League season is held by the legendary Alan Shearer, who scored five hat-tricks for Newcastle United against West Ham, Tottenham, Coventry, Nottingham Forest, and Bolton.

For Haaland to break this record, he will need to score two more hat-tricks in City's next five games.

While this may seem like an impossible task, Haaland's incredible form and talent cannot be underestimated. The Norwegian striker has shown time and time again that he is a true force to be reckoned with on the pitch.
