Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez spotted in Riyadh hospital for daughter's operation
Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo was recently spotted in a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
Reportedly, the Portuguese forward was in the hospital for a surgical procedure for his daughter, Bella, who has been suffering from health concerns for quite some time now.
Cristiano's daughter was hospitalized for her Appendix surgery, as per reports. Earlier, she was admitted for a whole week for treatment for 'Bronchitis', which led the footballer to miss the pre-season training for his then-club, Manchester United.
The Portuguese player had made a statement that said, "The executives at Manchester United didn't seem to 100% believe my newborn daughter was ill. It's painful because they didn't take my word for it." This sparked a lot of debate between Manchester United and Ronaldo fans.
This distrust between the English club and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner further led to his exit from the Premier Club. But his appearance at the hospital today confirms that his daughter was in fact sick and is suffering from medical conditions.
The 38-year-old footballer is rumoured to leave Al-Nassr after he was offered an ambassadorial position by Real Madrid owner Florentino Perez. It was said that Ronaldo struggled to adapt to the Saudi Arabian culture and the language barrier so he might leave the club and return to Real Madrid, his previous club.
Ronaldo signed a lucrative $213 million deal for a period of two and a half years with Al-Nassr in December last year. Since this expensive signing, Ronaldo has appeared in 13 games and has scored 12 goals and two assists. Although his individual statistics have been great for the club, the club’s performance has dipped after his arrival.
If he decides to leave Al-Nassr and join Real Madrid, this would mean an end to his illustrious career which went for more than 20 years starting in 2003. His club, Al Nassr will face Al-Khaleej in their next fixture on Monday, May 8 at the KSU Stadium.
