Watch: Micah Richards humiliated after CBS show clip of Alessandro Del Piero ruining him
A clip of Alessandro Del Piero humiliating Micah Richards during a 2010 Europa League clash between Man City and Juventus was broadcast to the world last night – and it delivered some serious belly laughs.
In the aftermath of Real Madrid vs Chelsea on Wednesday evening, Del Piero joined usual suspects Kate Abdo, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards in the CBS Sports studio.
After they discussed both Champions League quarter-finals, a mischievous Carragher brought up a previous meeting between Del Piero and former City captain Richards, when the pair came up against each other in the Europa League.
In fact, then-City boss Roberto Mancini made the right-back his captain for the night.
After teeing up the scene perfectly, Carragher began: "Did you know, this player on my left [Richards] and this guy on my right [Del Piero] have played against each other."
He added: "And would you believe - the biggest thing that shocked me - who do you think was captain of Manchester City?"
With his usual gusto, Richards replied: "El capitano," before asking for some respect.
Carragher then interrupts: "But, he went out with the armband. Shall we see how it unfolded?"
In the next few seconds, CBS would show a highlight from the clash between Richards and Del Piero and well, the Italian striker managed to get the better of his new punditry friend before assisting debutant Niccolo Giannetti.

As you can see in the clip above, Del Piero cuts back onto his right foot, a piece of skill that almost dropped Richards, who slipped after some tricky footwork from the former Juve forward.
"Hey, at least you won the toss," Carragher laughed after watching the goal back. "Is there anyone who didn't take you to the cleaners?"
"No, every player," Richards replied.
As you can imagine, social media were loving the interaction.
One fan commented on the video, saying: "Best football punditry team on TV without a doubt! So good! Poor Micah can't catch a break!" while another said: "CBS Sports just gets it right every time. I like watching these guys as much as the games."
A third wrote: "This is the only worthy thing to come out of football for me this season. Makes up for everything."
A fourth added: "I love these guys too much. Best sports segment on TV by a country mile. It's not close. They are clear."
