WATCH: Al-Wehda's Jean-David Beauguel stuns with bicycle kick to eliminate Ronaldo's Al-Nassr from Kings Cup
On Monday night, Al-Wehda's Jean-David Beauguel scored an impressive acrobatic goal, leading his team to defeat Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates in the Saudi King Cup.
Scoring the game's sole goal in the first half, the Frenchman secured the victory for the visiting team, ultimately leading them to the final and eliminating Al-Nassr from the competition.
Despite being the talisman of Al-Nassr, Ronaldo had a challenging evening as the Moroccan goalkeeper, Munir Mohamedi, repeatedly denied the former Manchester United star, making a remarkable point-blank save at the beginning of the second half.
As a result of the loss, the Knights of Najd have not won in their last three matches across all competitions and may end the season without a trophy, despite starting the campaign on a positive note.
Following the dismissal of Rudi Garcia, Al-Nassr is presently managed by Dinko Jelicic, but they were unable to handle a corner and suffered the consequences at the hands of Al-Wehda.
A clumsy clearance by their defense led to the ball falling favorably for Beaguel, who scored the winning goal in a fashion that would make Ronaldo proud.
