Outraged Chelsea Fans Demand Frank Lampard's Resignation Following Post-Match Interview After Brentford Loss
According to Sportbible, Frank Lampard faced criticism from his own supporters over his post-match interview in the aftermath of Chelsea's recent loss to Brentford.
Since taking over from Graham Potter as Chelsea manager, Lampard has suffered five consecutive defeats, including two losses against Real Madrid which led to their elimination from the Champions League.
On Wednesday, The Blues were dealt their 13th league defeat of the season at home against Brentford, who secured a 2-0 win and all three points.
Bryan Mbeumo doubled Brentford's lead after Cesar Azpilicueta scored an own-goal, ultimately securing a significant away win for Brentford.
Following the match, Lampard shared his thoughts on the defeat and made a remark about a "magic wand," a statement he previously made during his time as Everton's manager.

"With 4-3-3, we looked more dynamic and more of a threat in the first 15-20 minutes of the second half," the caretaker manager told BT Sport.
"But still there is that feeling around at the minute that the goal might not come and [the opponents] might get something."
We have to work against that. We’d love a magic wand or a magic moment, but it doesn’t come in football, so we’ll have to fight for the moment."
Although Lampard is a Chelsea legend, some fans expressed their displeasure with his comments on social media and even called for his resignation after the team's loss.
One Twitter user wrote: "Why can’t he just say these players don’t seem to give a f**k and we were shit again tonight and also I’m not helping either am I."
A second tweeted: "Magic wand excuse is out after 5 games f**k me."
A third added: "Have some shame and resign NOW!"
A fourth said: "Frank, you played Sterling up top with Gallagher and Kante either side of him. And you wonder why we can’t create or buy a goal."
Another commented: "Sack yourself man just have some grace ffs."
Chelsea currently sits in 11th place in the league and seems likely to end the season in the bottom half of the table.
