Online Sleuths Uncover the True Identity of Rapper DIDE: Shocking Revelations Surface
DIDE, a rapper from Britain, has been making headlines after dropping his first single, "Thrill," and asserting that he's a Premier League football player.
To date, the song has accumulated more than 870,000 views on YouTube, causing a stir among numerous soccer enthusiasts who are eager to uncover the true identity of the masked rapper.
Some of the names that have been brought up include Eddie Nketiah, as "Dide" is a rearrangement of the letters in his name. Others have speculated that the person in question could be Wilfried Zaha or Noni Madueke, who recently signed with Chelsea, given that the music video was filmed in London.
Some have also suggested that it is likely to be a Gunners player because of lyrics such as "my team stay winning" and "every game is like a final" - referring to their title race with Manchester City.
Betting sites even released their odds for who the rapper is likely to be, with Nketiah leading the race at 1/3, Alex Iwobi is in second with 4/1, Bukayo Saka at 7/1 and Ashley Young next at 12/1.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is also on the list at 100/1, but since these odds have been released, it seems like some online detectives have found the true identity of DIDE.
It is none other than ex-Liverpool wonderkid, Sheyi Ojo.
That is, if the internet is to be believed.
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed a tattoo on his arm, as well as his hair coming out of his mask, which both seem to match Ojo, as he has the same diamond tattoo on his arm.
If this is true, then DIDE isn't a Premier League footballer at all, as Sheyi Ojo currently plys his trade in the Championship with Cardiff City.
Despite DIDE stating that he was 23 in his song, Ojo is actually 25-years-old - but he is from Hemel Hempstead, a town that is part the Greater London Urban area.

Ojo actually permanently left Liverpool in the summer of 2022, making a total of 13 appearances for the first-team over three seasons.
The tricky winger has only managed one league goal this season at Cardiff, but has managed to make bigger waves in the hip-hop world if these rumours are true.
