'It's all politics': Premier League star insists Liverpool are still interested in signing Bellingham
According to Newcastle United and England striker Callum Wilson, Liverpool are still interested in signing Jude Bellingham from Dortmund.
Speaking on the Footballers Podcast, Wilson said: “Let’s be serious, they’re saying they’re pulling out because they want the fee to reduce. It’s all football politics. It’s standard.
“Act like you’re not interested about something and all of a sudden it’s like: ‘no, no, no, we want you’.
“Liverpool’s a top football club, so you should be optimistic about getting anyone in your door,” the England striker added.
Wilson and Bellingham play together for the national team but besides that the striker makes a pretty solid point.
Dortmund are said to be demanding £130m for Bellingham a fee Liverpool are unwilling to pay.
