''I am sure we can win'' - Thomas Partey Urges Arsenal On Ahead of EPL Title Clash Against Man City

Thomas Partey have sent a rallying call to the Gunners ahead of their clash against Manchester City. The two title rivals come to blows on Wednesday evening at Etihad Stadium where the winner of the fixture will likely become the favourite to lift silverware in May.

The Gunners have seen the momentum built up due to an eight-game winning run come to a grinding half with three successive draws. Liverpool, West Ham and now Southampton have all taken points off the current league leaders while City have picked up maximum points in that time alongside qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals and FA Cup final.

Despite the recent run of setbacks, the title is still in Arsenal's hands and the message remains the same from the Gunners camp with Thomas Partey the latest to provide his verdict on the title race. Speaking to the Mail, he said: 

"I think everything depends on us – we have to go [to City] with the mentality to play football and plays we know. And, at the end, we have to try and win.

"We have to approach it as a game in that we do everything that we did from the beginning of the season and I am sure we can win, if we do that. It's normal that we feel frustrated after Friday as we could have done better. We worked so hard during the week for the game.

"We cannot put our heads down because now is not the time to drop heads. We have to keep on fighting, we have to keep on pushing and in the end we will get better results."

Many had questioned whether or not City could catch Arsenal as Pep Guardiola's side struggled to find top and consistent form. However, with a settled core of players and formation now in place, the reigning champions look absolutely unbeatable.
