Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mother Accused of Making Life 'Unbearable' for Georgina Rodriguez

Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the best soccer players of all time, with his career giving us many memorable and magical moments. Off the pitch, Ronaldo is also a big family man, a father of five, and a loving son.

He lives with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, his five children, and also his 68-year-old mother, Dolores Aveiro. However, recently, it’s been revealed that Ronaldo’s mother and his girlfriend’s relationship is far from perfect. Their issues were recently discussed on a Portuguese TV show.

Ronaldo’s mother criticized

On April 22nd, a Portuguese TV show, ‘Em Família’, shed light on the relationship between Dolores Aveiro and Rodriguez. Portuguese celebrity, António Bravo was a guest on the show and commented on the problematic relationship between Aveiro and her daughter-in-law.

He claimed, “I think it is a recurring problem, which is the relationship between Dona Dolores and her daughters-in-law (…) sometimes it cannot be constant, I mean, the son also has the right to be happy”. Further, Bravo alleged, “If she’s always having these things with all his girlfriends, it becomes unbearable and they look at her, they give up. I think she should calm down a bit, Dolores”.

It’s understandable why Antonio Bravo has raised this topic. Just some years ago there were rumors that Ronaldo’s mother was the reason for her son’s breakup with his previous girlfriend, Irina Shayk. It was reported that in 2014 Shayk did not attend Aveiro’s 60th birthday. Ronaldo decided to end their relationship as a result of this.

 Dolores Aveiro and Georgina Rodriguez appear to be having a bad relationship, but the reasons for this are still unclear. However, Portuguese journalist Adriano Silva Martins seems to have an answer to this.

The reason for this bad relationship in the Cristiano Ronaldo family

Acclaimed Portuguese journalist Adriano Silva Martins has divulged the source of the tension between soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother and his girlfriend. Apparently, it began after Rodriguez removed one of Dona Dolores’ treasured paintings from the couple’s Madrid home during renovations.

Martins revealed saying, “That painting was put in the garage. Dona Dolores was upset, and when she found out it was in the garage, she was furious. That house was under construction, and the painting disappeared. And now, what is above that fireplace is the portrait of our Gio (Georgina Rodríguez)”.

He further added, “There is no healthy relationship between them, and this is the reality. There is no reason because they both dislike each other”. It looks like there is still animosity between the two family members.
