Bayern Munich reportedly interested in Osimhen, offering Napoli a deal including Mane and cash

As per Florian Plettenberg, a Sky Sport journalist, Bayern Munich has suggested a swap deal that would involve Sadio Mane moving to Napoli in return for the Super Eagles' forward, Victor Osimhen.

Napoli is on the brink of winning their first Serie A title since 1990, and their top-performing striker Victor Osimhen has been in sensational form.

 The Nigerian player is currently the leading goalscorer in Serie A, having scored 21 goals in 25 league appearances.

Top European clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern, have taken an interest in Osimhen's outstanding form.

Despite interest from several European clubs, Napoli has set a high price tag of over 100 million euros on Osimhen, their prized asset.

 Bayern Munich, looking to lower the price, has suggested a player-plus-cash deal, offering Mane as part of the deal.

It is a well-known fact that Bayern Munich is not pleased with Mane's performance and is actively seeking ways to offload him.

After Bayern Munich's first-leg defeat against Manchester City in the Champions League, Mane had a confrontation with his teammate Leroy Sane and punched him.

Following huge interest on Osimhen, Plettenberg reports:“Napoli want €150m for Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker wants to join Bayern.”

“No negotiations between clubs yet. There’s a first idea of a potential swap deal with Sadio Mané.”

“However, Napoli cannot afford the Senegalese’s wages.”

If Napoli defeats Salernitana and Lazio fails to win against Inter Milan, Osimhen and his teammates will be crowned Serie A champions.
