Arsenal Stun Southampton with Late Goals to Salvage Draw in Thrilling Finish
In the 88th minute, Arsenal managed to score two goals within two minutes and as a result, they were able to secure a point against Southampton.
On Friday, at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal made a spirited comeback which helped them keep their Premier League title hopes alive.
With only two minutes remaining in the normal time, Arsenal was behind 3-1, but then Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka scored in the 88th and 90th minute respectively, allowing Arsenal to level the score.
In the initial minute of the game, Carlos Alcaraz initiated the scoring by taking advantage of Aaron Ramsdale's misplaced pass. The talented Argentinean displayed excellent finishing skills to give his team the lead of 1-0.

In the 20th minute, Gabriel Martinelli scored a goal for Arsenal, who then applied pressure on Southampton during the second half of the game.
Nonetheless, the away team extended their lead by scoring another goal, with Duje Caleta-Car using a header to convert a corner kick.

Although Mikel Arteta's team is still leading the table, they were unable to increase their advantage over Manchester City.
Currently, they hold a five-point lead over the defending champions, but they have played two more games than their competitors.
This weekend, the Blues won't be playing in the league as they're scheduled to face Sheffield United in the FA Cup. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola's team will return to league action next Wednesday with a home game against Arsenal, which could potentially determine the outcome of the title race.
