'Worse than expected': Worrying update on Garnacho injury emerges
Alejandro Garnacho's injury appears to be a serious one, which could prevent him from participating in Argentina's upcoming international games.
The Manchester United teenager was subjected to a heavy tackle by Kyle Walker-Peters in the 0-0 draw with Southampton.
And Garnacho was seen struggling at the time, leaving the stadium in crutches after the game.
Now, as per TYC sports, Garnacho's injury is 'worse than expected' although there is no timeframe as to when he could return.
The club have conducted tests and the initial reports are not good - meaning he will miss out on earning his very first senior international cap for Argentina.
Garnacho has enjoyed a stellar campaign so far, scoring four goals and assisting five more in 29 games across competitions.
