'We've shown that we can beat anyone': Southampton's Che Adams fires warning to United

"I think we have shown it, that we can beat anyone on our day," Che Adams told Hampshire Live. "We are a good enough team to do that and over the past few times going to Old Trafford we have got a couple of draws.

"I don't know why, but we always seem to produce against the bigger teams and play better against them, I don't know if that is them being overconfident, or us just fighting for every ball. But we are confident going into this game and if it is not successful, then we have a few days to go into Brentford."

Southampton drew 1-1 with Man United when the two sides last met at Old Trafford in February 2022 with Adams on the scoresheet.

The Saints have defeated Chelsea twice this season, knocked Man City out of the Carabao Cup and picked up a point against Arsenal.
