'They've won the Europa League many times': Erik ten Hag reacts to 'tough' Sevilla draw

Speaking to the reporters on Friday, Erik ten Hag said: "Sevilla have a very good record and we have to be aware of it.

"It is going to be tough, they are a very experienced team in the Europa League and have won it so many times.

"I don't know the team in detail but for me the most important is football and I don't look forward to playing against Sevilla.

"First we have international break and then three Premier League games, so there isn't much time to focus on that.

"All the opponents are coming to this stage of Europa League are strong and you have to play your best football if you want to go through."

Manchester United have been drawn against Sevilla in the Europa League Round of 16 after already facing Real Sociedad, Barcelona and Real Betis from La Liga this season.

The Red Devils are among the main favourites to win the 2022/23 edition of competition while also competing for a place in the Premier League top four as well as the FA Cup.
