Liverpool could make an attempt to sign Gavi for free in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.
La Liga have recently overturned the 18-year-old's registration as a Barcelona player, casting doubt on his future at the club.
It turns out that Gavi's contract — signed in the summer of 2022 — is not valid at the moment. The player is currently under his old deal.
Barca will try again at the end of the season but Liverpool could tempt the player by offering him a contract as they look to bolster this midfield options.
