Ten Hag recreates Rashford's celebration, explains what it really means

Erik ten Hag brilliantly recreated Marcus Rashford’s trademark ‘point to the temple’ celebration in a recent interview with Sky Sports.

Speaking about what it means, the gaffer said: “I back him. The coaches are backing him, supporting him, motivating him. But in the end, he has to do it.

“And I think he is expressing that very well by every time when he scores a goal. He is doing this (pointing to his temple) ‘It’s all in my head, I’m in control'”

Rashford has been in brilliant form for United this season, scoring 26 goals across all competitions – which is what he managed over the previous two seasons combined.

The Englishman has found new life under Ten Hag and is on course to become the first United player since Robin van Persie (in 2012/13) to score over 30 goals in a season.
