Ten Hag confirms Casemiro available to face Real Betis — but another player is injured

Casemiro is available to face Real Betis in the Europa League last 16 first leg tie at Old Trafford.

However, Erik ten Hag has ruled out Marcel Sabitzer from the game due to an injury he picked up against Liverpool.

“We have a strong programme, but I think we are quite good,” said the Manchester United boss in his pre-match press conference.

“The only disappointment is Marcel Sabitzer is not available, as well as Anthony Martial.

“Anthony Martial is back on the pitch, so we will see. For the rest, everyone is available and we are ready for the game.”

Casemiro's availability is certainly a welcome boost but he's just one yellow card away from a Europa League suspension.
