'No one ever praises him': Chelsea fans hail one under-rated player in Leicester win
Ruben Loftus-Cheek started in the right wing-back position for Chelsea in the 3-1 victory against Leicester. The Englishman deputised for Reece James, who is currently injured.
Despite all the criticism he gets, Ruben put in a very decent performance — he was solid at the back, made a number of dangerous runs up front, carried the ball well and even provided an 'assist' — though Joao Felix's goal was chalked off for offside.
So here are Chelsea fans praising the 27-year-old.
Arden: "He was great man he's always been a great servant for the club I don't know why people hate on him."
Mike Domestic: "No reason to sell him in the summer, perfect squad player"
Kai Mollow: "Unreal much more dynamic and confident performance at RWB such a good player man."
One Jobless Boy: "Loftus Cheek is better than most of the Chelsea players bought recently."
Gknowsball: "RLC deserves a lot of respect for his recent performances. He’s a quality squad player and it helps being a supporter of the club."
3bz: "He balled today. Needs to start on that position often if Reece isn’t playing"
Lew: "Chelsea has 2 of the top 5 'how the hell can that man be such a fast ball carrier' players in the league in Kova and RLC."
Junior: "He showed he's still class today"
SJFtbI: "No one ever praises him, RLC has been class so far"
CFCLoz: "Bro played outstanding wing back duty for someone who learned the position 10 months ago"
