Militao 8.5, Camavinga 4: Rating Real Madrid players in Espanyol win
Eder Militao - 8.5
The Real Madrid defender scored an impressive header to complete the comeback against Espanyol today. Militao was also solid defensively and reliable on the ball -- he barely put a foot wrong.
Vinicius Junior - 8
The winger was again our most threatening outlet, always looking to create danger with his dribbles and movement. Vini scored our first of the night following a marvellous run and also created chances for his teammates with his 4 key passes.
Aurelien Tchouameni - 8
Tchouameni provided a jaw-dropping assist to Militao with a Modric-esque pass. The Frenchman was great in possession and also put in a lot of work defensively, winning 9/16 duels and completing 3 tackles.
Dani Carvajal - 5.5
The veteran full-back left a negative impression tonight through his poor positioning and unwillingness to track back. Carvajal spend a lot of his time in the opposite half but did not create anything of substance, losing possession on multiple occasions.
Eduardo Camavinga - 4
A poor outing from Camavinga whose bad positional awareness cost us the opening goal. Eduardo won just 4/9 duels and didn't register any other defensive contribution. Add to that his non-existent attacking contribution, he was hands-down our worst player tonight.
Others: Courtois 7.5, Nacho 7.5, Modric 7, Kroos 7.5, Rodrygo 6.5, Valverde 6.5, Asensio 7.5, Rudiger 6.5, Ceballos 7, Alvaro
