'May God give power to the families': Tsimikas dedicates Wolves win to victims of deadly train crash in Greece
Kostas Tsimikas spoke to the media after Liverpool's 2-0 win over Wolves last night and dedicated the win to the people that suffered in the tragic train crash in Greece on Tuesday night.
"I’m very, very happy for my performance. When I don’t play for a long time, I came into the team and I saw that I am ready… I think that is the hunger for every player who doesn’t play so often.
"But of course I want to say I give this win for my people back in Greece. There was an accident yesterday, a train crash, may God give power to the families and may they rest in peace."
The horrific collision of at least 43 people, as per BBC, and the was allegedly caused by human error, leading to the arrest of the station master in question.
