Man United planning to let two youngsters leave - one is Pellistri

Man United are planning to allow Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Elanga head out on loan next season.

Pellistri has made six substitute appearances since the New Year and he has had a notable impact in almost all of them.

The 22-year-old joined United for £9million from Penarol in October 2020 and had to wait more than two years to make his debut against Charlton in this season's League Cup quarter-final.

Elanga, meanwhile, has started seven times under manager Erik ten Hag and all but one of those starts came before the season was paused for the World Cup on November 13.

He has not scored for United in over a year, having started in 16 of Ralf Rangnick's 29 games in charge as interim manager last term.

United intend to sign a striker in the summer with Harry Kane Ten Hag's preferred target and Anthony Martial will be made available for transfer.
