Man United announce they won't appeal Casemiro's red card — they explain their decision
Manchester United will not be appealing Casemiro's straight red card against Southampton, the club announced on Monday.
The Brazilian will therefore remain suspended for the next four domestic games (three Premier League clashes and one FA Cup match).
An official statement reads: "We have decided not to appeal against Casemiro's red card. The club decided there was not a high chance of being able to overturn the ban on appeal."
The Brazilian himself had this to say: "The referee, the fans, they see there is no malice. I always try to get the ball. I always go strong because that is who I am, and I like the intensity that I play with, but there is no malice."
