Liverpool get their biggest-ever win v United, breaking 128-year record

Liverpool have defeated Man United 7-0, recording their biggest-ever victory against their arch-rivals.

The previous biggest margin was six goals, set in the 1895/96 season. United weren't even United at that time — the club was named Newton Heath.

The Red Devils had suffered three 7-0 defeats (against any opponent) before — in 1926, 1930 and 1931. So this is their first defeat with such a margin in 92 years.
