Klopp: 'Few months ago everyone thought it was good moment to play Liverpool'
"A few months ago everyone thought it was a good moment to play Liverpool," Jurgen Klopp said after the United game, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
"You can’t say it publicly but everyone thought it - because they felt we were struggling a lot but now it is less of a good moment.
"We look much more like ourselves. It is important that everyone knows we are here and we are still alive."
Liverpool went through a period of poor form after the World Cup break. But the Reds have had an uptick in form recently and are already fifth in the table, three points behind Spurs — who have played a game more.
"We were flying, we know the result is a freak but the performance was outstanding and that's what I take from it," Klopp added.
