'It is serious’: Ten Hag reveals how long Garnacho will be out for after Southampton blow
Speaking about the injury Alejandro Garnacho sustained in the 0-0 draw against Southampton, Erik ten Hag said: “I can't say exactly [when he will be back]. It will take weeks [to recover], it is a serious injury.
“Once again, after Christian Eriksen, we have a serious injury after a contact. It is difficult to make a diagnosis quickly. I saw him [Garnacho] limping and that is why I took him off.”
Despite these worrying comments, Ten Hag reassured that Ale will be back in action later this season. He added: "He will be back before the end of the season. We need to get him back as soon as possible and we hope he is ready."
It’s quite clear that Garnacho will not be available for Man United’s next two games before the international break and is unlikely to return before April.
He also won’t be able ot play for Argentina during the international window and needs to use that time to focus on his recovery and get back into action soon for the Red Devils.
