'His dream is to join Madrid': Personal trainer reveals Salah's reaction when he asked the Egyptian to join Barcelona

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has truly suffered at the hands of Real Madrid. He's lost two Champions League finals and is now eliminated from the competition a second time at the knockout stage by the same opponent.

However, Salah has a lot of love and admiration for Real Madrid as revealed by his former trainer Jaime Pabon.

"I told him that I had to sign for Barcelona and he told me no. That his dream was to play for Real Madrid," Pabon said in his interview with Relevo.

 Liverpool are knocked out by Real Madrid for the third year in a row, including the 2021/22 edition when the two teams faced each other in the final.

Considering the 2018 final as well, Liverpool were defeated by Real Madrid in four out of six latest Champions League editions.
