"We are very happy with Franck Kessie. He is showing a great level in attack and defence. His runs into the box are well-timed. He has had the necessary patience and the recent minute are giving him the confidence to be important," Xavi has said.
Kessie's involvement at Barcelona was very limited in the first part of the season but he's been getting more minutes as of late.
Due to the slow adaptation, Barca considered offloading Franck at the end of the season. Now, however, it's said that Xavi believes the Ivorian has a future at Camp Nou.
This term so far, Kessie has made 29 appearances for Barca and has contributed with two goals and three assists.
