He doesn't want us anymore!: Saka mocked by Rice after FaceTime with Kim Kardashian

Bukayo Saka was teased by fellow England internationals Declan Rice and Luke Shaw about his recent brush with celebrity upon his return to the Three Lions set-up at St George's Park.

The Arsenal player FaceTimed with social media doyenne Kim Kardashian and her son Saint following Arsenal's Europa League exit at the hands of Sporting CP on Thursday evening, and his team-mates couldn't resist the opportunity to mock him.

In a video shared on the official Twitter account for the Three Lions, Saka is seen heading over to greet Rice and Shaw, until Rice wonders aloud as to whether he's above them, in the wake of the call.

'Bro, he's been on FaceTime with Kim Kardashian, he doesn't want us anymore!' Rice ribbed.

With mock-irritation, Saka asked 'Do you want to say hello to me or not?'

Shaw and Rice quickly relented, and the trio shared hugs and well-wishes as they reunited for international duty.

Kardashian had shared a video of her and Saint talking to the 21-year-old on Instagram Stories, calling the England international 'the boys fave player for Arsenal', tagging the north London club.

The Skims mogul had earlier in the evening cut an unexpected figure at the Emirates as part of a group watching the Europa League round-of-16 tie.

But seemingly engrossed with the penalty shoot-out that decided the fixture, Kardashian chose to film the young player's penalty, which was bulleted past Portuguese side's goalkeeper Antonio Adan.

Continuing her self-described 'football tour', Kardashian and her group met up with Dele Alli, the former Tottenham star who has been frozen out at Super Lig club Besiktas, where he is currently playing on loan.

Crossing the channel, Kardashian was joined by her sister Kendall Jenner in Paris, watching the capital's outfit Paris Saint-Germain lose 2-0 at the Parc des Princes to Rennes.

Kardashian later met French international Kylian Mbappe after the match, and FaceTimed with the injured Neymar.

Light ribbing aside, Saka, Rice and Shaw will be focused single-mindedly on securing qualification for 2024's European Championships.

Their campaign will kick off against Roberto Mancini's Italy in Napoli, and England will look to avenge their defeat in the 2021 final when they line up against the Azzuri for the second time since losing the tie on penalties.
