Football language coach has been 'blocked' from working with several Premier League players
A football language coach has been prohibited from working with Premier League footballers after leaving their partners ‘jealous of her,’ according to stunning reports.
Sara Duque boasts 153k followers on Instagram and can fluently speak up to six different languages, including German, Spanish, French, English and Portuguese.
The former sports lawyer has shared snaps with her clients, including the likes of Juventus loanee Arthur Melo and Manchester City star Julian Alvarez.
Alvarez, who lifted the 2022 World Cup with Argentina in Qatar, has even shown off his English-speaking skills in an Instagram video after City’s win over Bournemouth.
Posting a photo of her alongside Argentina star Alvarez, Duque wrote: “From lifting the World Cup to conquering a new language -- my student’s talent knows no bounds!
“Impressive progress in such a short period of time. Very proud of my student!”
Argentine TV program Invasores (via The Sun) reports that the lawyer-turned-language-coach has been ‘prevented’ from giving lessons to some Premier League footballers.
It is believed that the partners of the Premier League players have been left ‘jealous of her’ and ‘don’t want’ her working with them.
Kevin De Bruyne has insisted that Alvarez’s English is “not that bad” and his City teammate “adapted really well” after his move to England.
“I think when he came into the club they were speaking about this young talent from Argentina and at the beginning we saw that he was a really talented player,” he told City’s official website last December.
