Disgusting banner mocking Munich disaster spotted hanging on Anfield gates

Man United are set to fight it out against rivals Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

Just before kick-off, some fans noticed a truly disgusting banner that was attached to the gates outside Anfield.

It was a designed German national flag with a picture of an aeroplane and '58' written in it.

This is clearly a vile mockery of the Munich disaster of 1958, that claimed the majority of the Busby Babes.

Even after Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag urged fans not to indulge in mocking tragic events, it seems some Liverpool fans didn't get the memo and did this disgusting thing
