Chelsea part ways with key Stamford Bridge staff after 30-year association - as staff overhaul continue

Chelsea have decided to end their association with their head groundsmen at Stamford Bridge, claims the Daily Mail.

Jason Griffin worked for 30 years with the club, but he as well as his assistant and son Reisse have been let go.

Griffin joined Chelsea in 2003 and headed a team of groundsmen which included his son as well.

They had the responsibility of looking after Stamford Bridge’s playing surface and grounds at the Cobham Training ground and Kingsmeadow.

Chelsea refused to comment on this as a major staff overhaul continues under Todd Boehly.
