Chelsea assistant coach requests to leave club for Bayern

As per Bild, Chelsea assistant coach Anthony Barry has submitted a request for leave the club to join Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.

Barry was in the dugout alongside Tuchel for 99 games during his time at Chelsea and the new Bayern boss has already made a public statement about his desire to have Barry at his new club.

"We hope that we will get Anthony, who is currently still under contract with Chelsea. We fight for it! And we're confident because it's my absolute wish. We will start with the three assistants next week.”

The negotiations between Chelsea and Bayern are still ongoing and the Blues want compensation for getting Barry out of his contract.
