BREAKING: Sir Jim Ratcliffe arrives at Old Trafford for Man United takeover talks
Sir Jim Ratcliffe visited Old Trafford on Friday morning for talks over a possible takeover of Manchester United.
The British billionaire was personally greeted by Richard Arnold, the club's chief executive officer in charge of the sale.
70-year-old Ratcliffe and Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani are two parties to have submitted a bid to but the club.
Ratcliffe is reportedly keen to buy the Glazers' shares, amounting to 69% of the club, while Sheikh Jassim wants to complete a full takeover.
