Boehly impressed by Potter's bold squad decisions - including leaving 2 players out of team
According to The Telegraph, Graham Potter has impressed Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly by making some big calls in terms of squad management.
That includes leaving two first-team players out of the team for the last two games against Leeds and Borussia Dortmund.
Hakim Ziyech avoided a red card in the Tottenham game but still faced the consequences of his performance there as he's yet to play a game since then.
Sidelining Mykhailo Mudryk is arguably even a bigger call from Potter, considering the pressure to play the £88 million signing. At the same time, it stands to reason that the winger needs time to adapt after making the biggest move in his career.
Potter's thinking was vindicated as the Blues won the last two games. He's still under pressure, though, to build on that if Chelsea want to get something out of this campaign.
