3 Chelsea youngsters named among 50 best wonderkids in football

Today, Goal released their new version of the NXGN Awards, celebrating the best teenage talents in world football.

Unlike previous editions, this year's list does not feature the ranking of those players, with only nine players selected as the top of the class.

No Chelsea youngster made this selected group, but three were named in a more comprehensive, 50-man list.

Only one of them, Lewis Hall, has already featured for Chelsea's senior side. The Englishman has been praised for his versatility, having featured in the midfield as on the left side of the defence.

Andrey Santos, who made the headlines for his exploits at the U20 South American championship, is branded as 'Brazilian Busquets' - even though he looks to be an attacking force, too.

Finally, Gabriel Slonina is the only goalkeeper on the list. The 18-year-old has already featured for the United States senior team but is yet to play for the Blues - as well as Santos.
