'We'll buy him back': Shakhtar Donetsk chief claims Mudryk is unhappy at Chelsea after snubbing Arsenal

"The market decided the price, not me or our president," said Shakhtar Donetsk chief Darijo Srna during an appearance on Football Ramble.

"[Mykhailo] Mudryk is one of the best players in Europe in his position after [Kylian] Mbappe or Vincius then it’s Mudryk.

"If someone wants to buy a player from Shakhtar they must respect us. We know how to sell players and how to buy players.

"He’s from our academy, an amazing kid, an amazing player. Unfortunately, at Chelsea now he’s not in a good mood, Mykhailo as well, but he has all the qualities to be one of the best players in the Premier League in the next couple of years."

Mudryk famously snubbed Arsenal to join Chelsea in the January transfer window. However, the move hasn't worked out for him as he's yet to score a goal or assist - or even be part of a winning team.

Arsenal, on the other hand, recently bounced back with a 4-2 win over Aston Villa to return to the summit of the Premier League standings.
