'We had sex 7-10 times a week': ex-wife Kevin-Prince Boateng reveals why he was always injured

The injury woes that plagued the career of former Barcelona midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been blamed on his insatiable sex drive, according to his ex-wife Melissa Satta.

"The reason Kevin is injured so often is because we have sex seven to ten times a week,” Satta told Gazzetta dello Sport in 2012.

Going further, the 36-year-old presenter added: “I hate foreplay, I want to go straight for it. I prefer to be on top so that I can be in control.”

Satta's comments led to a storm of abuse, with fans calling her a nymphomaniac.

She responded by stating: "Just because we have sex so often doesn’t make me a nymphomaniac."

Boateng played for Barca in 2019, making just 4 appearances.
