Milan defeated Tottenham 1-0 in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League tie, with Brahim Diaz opening the scoring inside 10 minutes at the San Siro.
Ibrahimovic, who has been recovering from a knee operation since last summer, wasn’t able to make his sensational return for Milan for the first-leg tie.
However, the 41-year-old Swedish striker is tipped to be available for the second-leg clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in March.
Following Milan’s win against Spurs on Tuesday, the first-team players who didn’t play in the match took part in a session with the Under-18s side.
According to reports, Milan manager Stefano Pioli allowed Ibrahimovic to swap sides so he could play with his 16-year-old son.
Maximilian, who is Ibrahimovic’s eldest son, played out on the left wing while his father took his rightful place as the striker.
Ibrahimovic’s Twitter account shared a stunning compilation of the father and son combo during the session (watch it in the video player above) with the caption: “DNA.”
“Nah, that’s such a flex. Imagine training with your own son while still being a pro,” one fan said.
Someone else tweeted: “This cub is from that lion.”
A third added: “I hope he has even half his dad’s footballing ability. That would still make him better than a lot of players today.”
While one Twitter user wrote: “Anybody feeling old yet?”
“Look at his son Maximilian, born in 2006, true DNA,” a fan posted.
