Vinicius proved his doubters wrong with his epic performance against Al Ahly. He opened the scoring and won a penalty in the second half. His running and dribbling were almost too much for the Africans to handle.

Rodrygo - 8.5

The Brazilian replaced Benzema well in this game and capped off a superb performance with a goal. He did miss a few chances in the first half but we score him high for his work rate and teamwork in the game.

Valverde - 8

It was great to have Valverde back on the scoresheet again after a three-month drought. He delivered a brilliant performance in the second half and was a workaholic for Madrid in the final third. This game will lift his confidence to new levels.

Tchouameni - 7.5

The French destroyer was back to his best for Real Madrid once again winning balls, disrupting attacks and distributing passes for his teammates. It was another solid game for the defensive midfielder.

Modric - 7

The icon missed a penalty in the second half after he had laser beams pointed at him before taking it. But beyond that, Modric was impressive in the game and hardly gave anything away.
