'This time, I'm on the right side': Rudiger applauds Madrid's comeback v Liverpool

“Crazy, this is just crazy. I have never experienced a night like this in football. Luckily this time I’m on the right side,” Toni Rudiger told the press after the Liverpool game.

“We did not start good. I did not start good but second half, we were fantastic.”

Real Madrid defeated the Reds 5-2 after going 2-0 down. Last year, the Whites turned around the game against Chelsea. The Blues went 3-0 up at the Bernabeu but ended up winning 3-2 — which was not enough to progress.

It was a brilliant comeback by Madrid and perhaps one of the reasons Toni decided to join the Whites — to be a part of wonderful nights like these.
