Reece James: 'I genuinely feel we can become one of the best teams in the world'

 

Reece James has spoken to the 5th Stand about the capability of the team and believes that with time this squad will come good.

"We need to grow as a group and I'm sure that will come with time”, Reece said ahead of our trip to Dortmund.

'We did well in spells against West Ham [Saturday's 1-1 draw] and probably should have got more out of the game. We just need to learn from these experiences and in time, draws will turn to wins with the quality of players we have here.

“Personally, I don't think there's a trophy that we can't win. The talent is there in the team and we are starting to understand each other better now after a hectic January.

“When that happens [winning trophies], I don't know but with the team we are building here at Chelsea, the structure that's being put in place and what the club is becoming with many young, exciting players, I'm confident success can be achieved.

“Once we have played together for a longer period of time and we've gained more experience, I genuinely feel we can become one of the best teams in the world.”
