Raphinha 8.5, Lewandowski 5: rating Barca players in Sevilla win
Raphinha - 8.5
The Barcelona winger had a poor first half but completely redeemed himself after the break. Raphinha played a part in all of our goals tonight, with a pre-assist, assist and goal respectively.
Not always the best decisions, sometimes hiding from the ball, but he turned up when it mattered!
Frenkie de Jong - 8.5
He is not a copy of Busquets, but he's more than capable to play as a pivot on his night. Tonight, Frenkie was everywhere on the pitch and contributed both offensively and defensively. We shouldn't overlook his pre-assist to the second goal either.
Jordi Alba - 8
Similar to Raphinha, Jordi did not look excellent throughout the match. He overhit his crosses and lost balls in defence but Alba never gave up and ended up contributing with a goal and an assist.
Franck Kessie - 7.5
The Ivorian came as an early sub and did a decent job in midfield. Kessie offered physicality today, but the highlight of his game was the outside-the-foot assist to Alba, proving again that he's got more skills in his toolbox.
Robert Lewandowski - 5
Lewandowski sometimes struggles in build-up and that's what witnessed tonight. Robert was mostly poor with his passes, spoiling counters and being too selfish at times. He didn't have many opportunities to score, but on a better day, he would've definitely converted that shot from inside the box.
