Potter explains reason behind taking off Chilwell for Cucurella against Dortmund
Chelsea manager Graham Potter revealed that Ben Chilwell suffered a slight knock in the 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund.
He told reporters after the game that the left-back took a kick five or so minutes before being substituted for Marc Cucurella.
Chilwell was seen limping a little bit after the kick, but Potter states the plan was always to play him for 65/70 minutes than the whole game.
While the English left-back created three scoring chances, Cucurella failed to set up anything big in the final part of the game.
