Petition to sack Potter crosses 40,000 signatures — 35,000 people joined in last 24 hours

Last weekend, a Blues fan Arash Moaref started a petition on Change.org asking Graham Potter to be sacked as the Chelsea manager.

The appeal to Todd Boehly is popular among the Blues faithful — at the time of writing, the petition has been signed 41,094 times. It has grown by 35,000 signatures since Sunday evening.

The Englishman is having an underwhelming spell in charge of Chelsea so far. The Blues are 10th in the league table and are on the cusp of exiting the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage.

Chelsea have won only one game since the turn of the year. Despite this, the club reportedly has no plans to sack Potter.
