'Mistaken identity': Ex-Blue Christian Atsu still missing after Turkey quake
The death toll has reached 10,000 people after the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Former Chelsea player Christian Atsu has gone missing after the disaster as he was in the province where the quake happened.
It was reported by the Guardian and other sources that Atsu had been pulled from the rubble and taken to a hospital. Unfortunately, this is not the case, as per the latest update.
Hatayspor's club doctor Gurbey Kahveci is quoted by Hurriyet that it's been a 'case of mistaken identity' and Atsu was not at the hospital where he was supposedly taken.
The rescue operations in Turkey and Syria continue.
