Manchester United Missing Players ahead of UEFA Europa League 1st Leg vs Barcelona
Thursday will see the return of the UEFA Europa League following some time without the competition. Manchester United face two legs against the current Spanish league leaders, Barcelona.
United will have the hard task of going away to Barcelona for the first leg at the Camp Nou this week. Erik Ten Hag's side will be hoping to win the opening leg with such a busy schedule ahead of them.
A win could allow United to rotate their squad a little for the second leg at Old Trafford ahead of the Carabao Cup on the 26th February. However, United will head into the first leg without a number of first team players.
With a mix of suspensions and injuries, United have quite the depleted squad ahead of the tie. Ten Hag will have to rotate and call on a number of squad players for the away game in Spain.
United will be without the already injured Christian Eriksen, at the time of writing Anthony Martial is also expected to miss the game. Donny Van De Beek is also out until the end of the season with injury.
Lisandro Martinez is suspended for the game as well as Marcel Sabitzer. As things stand Antony and Scott McTominay will also miss the game, this means that United will be without SEVEN first team players.
