Man United Women and men's team 'deeply uncomfortable' about Greenwood return
As per The Athletic, a tier-one source, players for Manchester United's women and men's teams are 'deeply uncomfortable' about Mason Greenwood's possible return.
The 21-year-old striker has had charges of rape, attempted assault and controlling behaviour dropped in a dramatic turn of events earlier this week.
It's important to note that Greenwood hasn't been cleared of the charges but instead, they have been dropped.
And members of our men's and women's teams believe the audio tapes are 'not something that can be easily erased from memory'.
The players are strongly against Greenwood's return to training facilities as they reckon all of the progress this season will be undone.
Even staff members at the club believe Greenwood should never wear the red shirt of the club again.
United have stated it will conduct 'its own process' before determining the next course of action as far as his future is concerned.
