Jose Enrique claims Salah should be first to leave Liverpool in squad rebuild

Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has surprisingly suggested that the first player Liverpool should get rid of in the summer is Mohamed Salah.

In a comment section to an Instagram post, Enrique agreed '100%' that the era of Jurgen Klopp's first team is over before expressing a more controversial view.

"The first one who should be sold for me is Salah," Enrique wrote.

"Since the AFCON he's not been the same player, and we can still make good money from him."

This sounds a bit harsh on the player who leads Liverpool's goalscorer charts this season with 19 goals, having also provided 9 assists across all competitions.

It won't be a good look on Liverpool, either, if they decide to sell their most high-profile player just a year after finally convincing him to sign a new deal.
